That green skein of alpaca/mulberry silk was calling out to me. Do something with me! Anything! Look, I am the same shade as the grass right now!

I answered by weaving it on my 18" tri-loom. It is the perfect size for a little neckerchief. I added ties to each end of the hypotenuse side. It looks good worn tucked inside the shirt or jacket.

Or out.
Tres chic! Really, really like this scarf. The yarn and color are gorgeous! It looks good with a denim shirt (as in your picture) and would also look good with a dressier top. A winner!
ReplyDeleteMama Pea, it's yours! E me your address at annie at maplecorners daht cahm.
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, Annie, what a treat! Your kindness hit me at the perfect time as a picker-upper. (I've worked myself into a bit of a funk this afternoon thinking about friends who are having a really rough go of it financially right now.) I'll make sure to pass along the good vibes you've created to someone else. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great. Now I am going to have to get my husband to build me an 18 inch loom. LOL
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Annie! I hope we get to see each other at Shepherd's Harvest, I'll be there on Saturday only this year. I skipped the garage sale in the faint hope of saving money for a major shopping spree at the Harvest :). Been thinking of you a lot.
ReplyDeletevery lovely piece, great knitting.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see your creative juices going to town. Stirs my own writerly work. Green is good. I'll use it in a scene tonight.
