Frost
Sick of them yet? Too bad. The hoarfrost looked so pretty falling off the trees this morning I couldn't resist. Really, click for big on this one. If I sent out Christmas cards, this might be the shot I'd use.
It was gorgeous this morning when I left. Street lights were creating pillars of lights up into the sky and I could see the crystals of frost glistening in my headlights on my drive to work. At first I thought it was the Northern Lights but then I decided it was from the hoarfrost.
I always think flocked Christmas trees look so fakey, but then this happens and I realize they can actually look like that in nature. Looking at the picture even, it looks kind of fakey, but I swear I didn't doctor the photo.
awesome!
