Foggy Frosted Webs
Last week when I had my weekend off, it wasn't all work. I spent about an hour Saturday morning playing. It was foggy, we had our first frost, and my world was covered in webs. We should be thankful that spiders aren't bigger, or we wouldn't be able to venture outside.
I walked right thru one of those webs this morning-it was stretched between the back door frame. It must have been a whopper of a spider because the web was so strong it made a little snapping sound when i went thru it. That always gives me the willies!!!
We're having our first freeze here this very morning. I'm not so happy about that this year as I find the cold harder to take now.
I notice my favorite spider webs in the corners of the doorways are mostly gone now. Strange that I've gotten to where I just go around instead of clearing them out.
"It is a tragedy of the first magnitude that millions have ceased to use their hands...this great gift...It is highly likely that a time will come when we shall be so incapacitated and weak that we shall begin to curse ourselves for having forgotten the use of the living machines given to us by God."
Mahatma Gandhi
Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. (Unknown)

Dewy spider webs... one of my favorites!
I think the one on the fence square is great.
Nature's spinners. How beautiful!
