Not stuck under something heavy

Neither is Mom. We're both fine.

I've been very busy with a large project for work.

I did a craft fair last weekend, and actually sold some things.

More importantly, I met a woman on the board of a therapeutic horseback riding program not terribly far away from me. I volunteered 8 years or so with a similar program when I lived in the Cities, and am very excited that I might be able to get involved with this again. The only way this is possible is that the program is located about halfway between my sister and I. My sister will meet me there, and watch Mom while I volunteer. This will be very good for me.

So good to see your post. We worry when we don't know what's going on. Glad to hear all is well . . . and you're just busy!

It's so hard, isn't it? Reaching out and growing yourself and also, taking care of your Mom. Good for you in all ways!

Whew! So glad to hear that no one is stuck under anything heavy! :-)

Sounds like the therapy riding will be a win-win! Will your Mom get to go with you, with your sister there? I bet she will enjoy seeing the horses and watching everything going on.

Oh i am glad you are doing something that makes your juices flow. I take care of my husband who is disabled and i make sure i keep up with the things that keep my brain and heart happy. It is so important.

Yep, Mom will go with me and my sister will watch her there. Mare, I do a lot of things around here that "make my juices flow". Just living here does that. But they are solitary things. I think this will help get me off the farm and among people a bit. I sometimes think I don't know how to act in society any more.

The horseback riding sounds like fun. Hope you enjoy yourself while you're volunteering. It's great that your sister is going to watch Mom for you. ((HUGS))

Isn't it marvelous and funny how volunteering to help others winds up being so good for a person? But truly, you are amazing - you life is all about giving, and then you go out and give some more.
