I really try to keep this blog separate from my business site, and only do commercials occasionally. This is one of those occasions, so I thought I'd make up for it by doing a giveaway. Forgive me?
The cards measure 3 1/2" by 5" and are blank inside. They are printed on acid-free cardstock. Perfect for any occasion, sets also make great gifts. Need a gift $10 or under for that office or guild gift exchange? Here you have it. A set of six cards with envelopes comes in a clear (safe for storage) box.
In celebration of finally getting the notecards up and ready for sale, I am giving away two sets of six notecards by random drawing. The lucky winners will make up their own set by mixing and matching any six of the cards featured here. Over 30 different cards to choose from.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post telling me one quirky thing about yourself. Blog about this contest (and tell me about it), and I'll add another entry for you.
Go forth, and tell all your family and friends, and casual acquaintances, and enemies, for that matter!
(Giveaway closes Friday, 5 pm Central time.)

Here's a "quirk" about me for ya:
William Hazlitt said, "I would spend my whole life traveling, if I could borrow another life to spend at home." I can truly state, "I would spend my whole life being totally lazy, if I could borrow another life to spend pursuing the gazillion things that interest me."

hmm maybe not so quirky, but here I go. I always put on my shirts/jackets with my right arm first. but I always put my left shoe on first.
I blogged about it. Still thinking about the "quirky" part. Maybe I'll ask my family and friends...
Okay...at random and inopertune times, something will trigger my brain (if you can call it that) and I will burst out into song. Usually they are weird old songs of which I only know a few lines.
I know that I do this because now my teens do it, too--sometimes at the same time that I do it, using the same song. LOL--I'm corrupting the next generation!
I sometimes sneak my knitting into the bathroom, to recharge my batteries and hide from the kids (they are safe, because they are usually on the other side of the bathroom door, banging to get in. Sigh.At least I know they aren't taking knives out of the dishwasher). That may not be so much quirky, as insane. A girl's gotta do....
i wear footie pajamas to bed... a throwback to my days as a toddler. :)
When I'm especially comfortable in my bed, I say a prayer thanking God for my mattress.
And I also have a tendancy to share too much information about myself.
I've seen every episode of M*A*S*H.
I like to drink hot tea and cold soda at the same time!
Thank you!

Nice cards you got there lady!
heres a very annoying quirky thing I do- I laugh at very inappropriate times, It just bubbles out when I'm nervous or upset or horrified-sooo embrassing ! Needless to say- I'm not the person you want around in tense situations....
First of all, I've been lurking for a long time, I love reading your posts!
Second, a quirky thing about me...
I count things. Lots of things. Stairs, how many times my receipt printer makes a noise, etc. But, if you ask me how many stairs are in a particular spot, I cannot tell you!
I'm quirky about squash. I love yellow summer squash, but I cannot stand green zucchini. To me, the green stuff looks like it's been grown on the bottom of a lake. That dark green with those stripey yellow and white veins running the length of it. Eewww! I can't think about it too long, it totally grosses me out.
Since I'm still blogless (I suppose that, by itself, could be considered a quirk), you'll have to reach me via Ravelry if I'm lucky enough to win. :-)

i'm not entering.(i don't have any quirks) i just like reading the quirk's quirks...ahahahahahah
add the spider web pics? they're pretty awesome.
Blogged about the cards - they are beautiful! Hmmm...quirks...my sister would call my vacation habits quirky (not in a hotel? in a tent?)
Quirk? Me? But...I thought...That I was wrong...And then… I realized that I was...Mistaken!
Sarcasm. Is that a quirk? I tend to have a really twisted sense of humor and I cover my anxiety over dealing with crowds with mucho sarcasm. Can’t help myself. I just go into my “Roseanne” routine and it’s all over but the shout (or should I say “crotch grab”?).
Nix the sarcasm for the remainder of this post.
Nice cards, by the way! How do I order if one were in need of that special gift?
Thanks Annie – I appreciate your blog. You make me think. Most of all, you make me smile!
The drawing is closed. Olga and JanetFaye are our winners.
It's only fair that I share a quirk. I don't drink hot liquids. No coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Or mostly broth soup.
Cinn, if you wanted to order you can click on the link in the post and it will bring you to the page with the details.
