Quick Mom Story
I heated up leftovers for supper one night. As I handed Mom her plate, she looked at it and said, "Oh, ick." I said, "That's not what you said last night!", as she had said how good supper was. She looked at me and said, "Huh, I must have been drunk."
I love that your mom still has a sense of humor. My mom and I still laugh at silly things. I treasure that. Have you been deluged with all this rain? It's awful. We needed it but not all at once.
Yes, my county has been declared a disaster area. Luckily my pump has managed to keep up with the water seeping into my basement. The roof in my kitchen is leaking, however. Urgh!
