Murphy's Home

Murphy was just reunited with his family. Two little girls were very happy to see him.

He had run away from home exactly a week ago. Turns out the person the vet gave me the number for was the previous owner. Murphy had lived with his new family in the country about 5 miles away since the spring.

I'm going to miss the bugger. I even offered to dogsit if they needed it. They are dairy farmers though, so I don't expect they'll ever take me up on it.

My heart is lighter today.

Oh, I love a happy ending to a story! Murphy was SO lucky to have found you, Annie. You get 4 (count 'em), 4 Gold Stars on your chart for taking such good care of him.

Oh that is great news! I was helping my daughter at her shop yesterday when a couple came in and asked if we knew who owned the little dog they had with them. She was found on their porch, shivering, no collar or leash, filthy.I promised to help them if they couldn't find the owner...Sometimes you wonder....

Thank goodness a happy ending. Nothing gets to me more than a lost animal story.

Thank goodness. You most definitely did not need another body to care for, did you? And, you both came out happy. At least he knows a safe haven is out there even if he isn't sure exactly where.

Ah so sweet (and what an awesome name, smile) You need a dog annie! someone to help watch over mom and alert you when she is getting into something.

Yay for a happy ending. I hope Murphy's family will put a sturdy tag with their address and phone number on it now. If he decides to go on another adventure it could be easier/faster for him to get back home.
Thanks for being there for Murphy. You were his guardian angel. :-)
