PBR likes dandelions too.
Mom has been restless all night and all day today, so that's all I got. She wants nothing more than to walk outside, but the mosquitoes are so bad I can't let her do that. Augghh!

I'm sorry to hear that your mom is restless. I remember those times so well. All you can do is just keep them company.I wish there was more to do for her.
PBR is gorgeous!
my mom slept for the past 2 weeks. day and night. didn't eat during the day, wet the bed at night...
but the cycle seems to have broken.
yesterday
when she heard there was chicken fried steak for lunch, she said, "i didn't know chickens could cook."
and we laughed and laughed. aaaahhahahhahahahahah!
I love this picture! I haven't read all of the archives yet so this is a guess: peanut butter rabbit? i'm looking at the dandelions in our lawn less harshly now thanks to your post
Sorry about your Mom - the mosquitoes are such a pain! What an adorable bunny face - love the dandelion :)
Robyn, keep them company and try to keep them out of trouble. Rick, that is too funny! I didn't know chickens could cook. Bahahahaha!
Colleenmc, nothing so inventive as that. Pretty bunny rabbit.
Of course, I suppose I could be a jerk and say you're lucky to have your Mom to help, but we both know that isn't the issue. I understand that restlessness and hope she can move to a less agitated place. Take care, dearheart. Oh, and please give your Mom a hug for me?
Hey Annie, I just saw this anti mosquito device on tv...not sure if it works, but no chemicals...maybe sound waves? It looks like a little blue beeper...you could hang it where you're sitting or wear it on your clothes. Just a thought.
Sandi, I saw that commercial too. It is made by Off, and I just requested (on-line) a coupon for buy one, get one free. Can't hurt to try it.
Just found your blog... Thank God it exists in this desert called caregiving. I enjoy your writing and your photography, your wisdom and your empathy. I am new to the experience (the diagnostic was only confirmed less than a year ago, although the behavior modification had started a while back) and I find it very challenging.
