The sun has been peeking out here and there this morning. It can create some dramatic effects, turning the corn all golden and innocent when it is out.

And turning the corn rather creepy and menacing when it isn't.

Happy Halloween! Don't get lost in any corn!

Really cool pictures you captured there. Glad to hear you report that the sun still shines (a little bit) in some parts of our state. We've had nothing but grayness and rain for days and days. Happily, our temp is staying in the 40s otherwise you know we'd be covered in the white stuff up here in the NE corner.

Looks like the farmers must still have a lot of corn standing in the field yet.

Mama Pea, most of October has been rain or snow, with a couple of days of sun here and there. The farmers haven't been able to get into the fields to do any harvesting because it has been too wet.
