Nature/Man-made

I was taking clothes down from the line as the sun set the other day, when I was struck by this view.

Man-made in the foreground mirroring nature in the background.

We have been enjoying a string of gorgeous, abnormally warm fall days here in SE MN. I've been taking the opportunity to rake leaves and clean out the barn. There is still more to do, but I took having numb hands as a hint to take a break.

Had 2 think a little about man-made mirroring nature, I'm a little dense. I was told the other day that we're not allowed to hang out our laundry where I live...that can't be true, your photo reminds me how I used to always sun/breeze dry the clothes.

Love the connection you made. The pictures are wonderful. And, yes, taking time off for numb hands is a very good idea!

Your mind, body and heart have got to be going through a huge transitional period. So glad you're still blogging and taking your wonderful pictures to share.

Beautiful! I love the vertical with the glowing clothespin. You just can't beat that light.

Thoughful pics as always. But wait... my definition of warm must not match you hardy stock in MN... when it's warm in DE, hands don't get numb. :-)

Ann, they didn't go numb from cold, it was from overuse or something. Llama poo is heavy! So are cement pavers.

I just love the whole process of drying clothes on the line, and they smell sooo good when you bring them inside - brings a little outside in.
