The sunrise was quietly beautiful this morning. Not all dramatic orange and pink and purple spread across the whole sky. Nope, just I'm round, I'm orange, I'll warm you up today.

Evocative image. Drear, gray, cold day with the warm center; a glowing ember at the core of it. I like the symbolism!
The one thing wrong with our little homestead here is that we have absolutely no view of the sunrise. (Heavy woods, tall trees in the way.) How I miss that. Being a morning person, sunrises have always been special. Thanks for sharing yours, Annie.
