Art of Alzheimer's, and your opinion needed!

You may have to look very closely to even see this one, the colors match so closely.

Now, I need your help.

Some of you may have seen the felted neckwarmers I've been making. I have one that I thought was in more masculine colors, so might appeal as a gift for a guy. This one.

Is the felted button closure still too feminine looking for a guy? I had my suspicions, so was trying to figure out an alternative. I have tried Velcro, but fiber gets caught in it, so it doesn't work.

Then I thought of magnetic snaps. Here is the prototype, showing the snap:

Closed:

And on:

The closure could also be worn in the back. What do you think, button or snap for guys?

ETA: So that you can actually see what I'm talking about, here is a lightened and larger photo of the Art photo. (Thanks for your assistance with this, Rick!)

Either looks great to me. I don't think the button looks feminine.

Burdock, bwahahahaha! You have me laughing too. I needed that!

Dangit, I really want your opinion though! Is the button too cutesy for a guy?

There is a ring of pennies very carefully arranged around the plate.

i wear a cotton neckerchief if the temp is below about 60. i wear a wool shawl when it drops below 45.

so...i'm pretty much the exact wrong person to ask about appropriate styles for men. i just go for warm. and to hell with the rest.

Hi Annie - I dont think the button looks feminine either but the magnetic snap would be a good idea anyway...for both men and women. With the snap on the inside the outside looks more "polished/smooth" and uninterrupted.

Regarding the Alzh Art... I did have to do a double take at the first pic before I noticed the pennys.
