I am participating in Curious Bird's Color Week, where you feature the set color of the day. Today is Blue.
This sits atop a window in the kitchen.
Snow sharks. I love the blue shadows.
Of course I had to include fiber of some sort. This is the alpaca/merino/silk/nylon sock blend.
My plans for the day have been foiled by a blizzard watch for this afternoon. It is snowing now, and the wind is supposed to pick up this afternoon to 40 mph. I am certainly not taking Mom out in that.

i collect blue bottles, too! i'll have to photograph them next time. happy color week!
If you two went out galavanting today in the weather you're having, you might have blue noses to post! Good idea to stay snug and warm at home.
We have no big snows coming up here in the NE part of the state but really, really cold temperatures all week after today. Highs in the MINUS teens!
Blizzard? Holy cow. You do not want or need to be out in it. As long as the animals are ok, stay the heck home. Love the color blue when it is either pale or vibrant. I'm envious of the blue bottles. I love the sun shining through colored glass, but then they fade. And, the yarn is simply lovely.
Snow Sharks! :-)
