A big wind came and scattered clematis petals across my deck. I love the purple against the gray. I sense another color way coming on.
I also sense another project to add to my to-do list. Power wash and seal the deck.

Oh how beautiful! And isn't that the way with decks?! I always say it's just like taking a nice piece of furniture outside to weather. Ours is SO in need of a power washing and sealing right now too... maybe in the fall.

It always amazes me how one color can enhance the other . . . make it more beautiful than it is alone.
Two of my favourite colours and so beautiful together, very restful. Looking forward to seeing the yarn they inspire!

Rick, nope, I took these just before I left the house for the workshop. I had my camera bag in hand heading for the door when I glanced out the glass door and saw them.
wow, that is one intense visual contrast... the dark aged wood against the silky textured brilliantly colored petal. Gorgeous!
